A1-J2 is an ice giant unlike any other in Andromeda. Its scrap-metal debris field suggests a fleet of primitive spacecrafts or space stations once studied the planet's hydrocarbon-rich atmosphere before being exterminated by some unknown force.
While Colonial Affairs is largely uninterested with the planet, Director Trainer believes it could provide information about potential life in the cluster.
