The Pi Zeconis Sector is as corrupt as a sector comes. After being completely leveled during the Ubiar Invasion for its spacecraft factories on Cionus, the Human Congress funneled significant funds into the sector to return the manufacturing haven back to its former glory. Yet, Miku Carnevale's predecessor embezzled a vast majority of the funds and fled to Frontier Space, leaving the sector in complete disarray.
Representative Carnevale's insistence on righting her predecessor's wrongs bought her a seat in the Human Congress and the full support of her constituents. However, some found of her opponents took offense with her messages and led a failed assassination attempt on the Congresswoman that sent the entire Human Freedom Coalition into disarray.
