Second Intergalactic Assembly

The Second Intergalactic Assembly is a governing body backed by private funding from the galaxy's elite and most of the Milky Way's major sovereign states. It imposes galaxy-wide legislation and settles disputes to the best of its ability.

Function[]

The Intergalactic Assembly's function is a simple yet impossibly daunting task: keep the peace. Comprised of representatives from each inducted race, the Assembly handles everything from war crimes to border disputes across the Milky Way.

To the pleasant surprise of most, the Second Intergalactic Assembly has done an exceptional job of keeping the peace, despite having members with increasingly hostile relationships.

Organization[]

Each Assembly race is represented by two Senators. These Senators discuss and solve any issues that concern the welfare of its members while the Chancellor acts as a sort of overseer. It is the job of the Chancellor to ensure that the Senate arrives at a decision for each matter as well as act as the public face of the Assembly. The Assembly's current members are as follows:

  • Ardite
    • Yuna Nim
    • Ukhuc Nim
  • Bushrak
    • Niranyan Jimol
    • Rex Opilian
  • Ganonsyoni
    • Juno Abra
    • Lucaean Tutan
  • Human
    • Marsul Rew
    • Lia Simbas
  • Vobuk
    • Usok J'Kanum
    • Sjusig Qui'qu'in
  • Katali (Non-voting members)
    • Icah Archon
    • Cosun Val

The Intergalactic Assembly was originally formed in November 18, 2185 CE via the Intergalactic Assembly Act of 2185. While the Assembly was officially created to fix long-standing problems with the original Intergalactic Assembly, the founding races clearly also intended to ostracize the Nironian Collective and Kelviir.
